how long after the depo shot did you get preg?
ive been off since october, but still havent started a period or anything
and ive heard that the shot can cause infertility, ive been on it for three years.
so i just want to know from females that have been on it before, about how long until you got your period again, and if it was really hard for you to get pregnant afterwards? or was it easy?
After the depo shot it can take a while until you start ovulating again,depo stops you ovulating egg doesn't ripen so no release, it takes time to get the hormones out of your system & the eggs to ripen & release so the uterus thickens to have a period or a so that a fertilized egg can implant,it can take 3 to 4 mths up to a yr to have your period again & up to 1 yr or 2 yrs to conceive.& it seems to take longer the longer you have been on it.The best 1 to ask is your Dr. or family planning clinic.I hope it helps & I hope it wont be to long before bfp.Good Luck.
