Office hygiene question... Does it seem okay to you to throw used diapers, which are in a sealed plastic bag,?
in the kitchen bin? To me it seems they should ONLY go in the bathroom bin. I work in an office to which young mothers with babies often come so this is an issue.
The diapers are NOT being changed in the kitchen. Usually on a towel on a sofa.
The reasoning behind asking the girls to put the used diapers in the kitchen bin is because only the staff see that bin and it looks unhygienic to have used diapers in the bathroom bin because clients will wonder how long they've been there. Go figure.
I have to agree with you, they should only go in the bathroom bin. Are they changing the babies in the kitchen? That seems rather unhygienic to me. Or are they changing the baby elsewhere and then bringing the used diaper into the kitchen?
