I use a Z Merc Gaming keyboard and after a windows update I have to hit and hold the windows key to type?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and I can find nothing on the net about it. Can someone please help??!?!?!?!??!!? I have even tried to roll back the updates and that seems to do nothing.
yes, it was a windows update, I did not upgrade the OS, it was just an regular update

What was updated, the OS?
