The main industries where most of the non-agricultural population are being employed are in OEM manufacturing. This includes consumer electronics, food, construction material, etc. The other main industries include construction, oil and gas, trading and financial services.

The main role of the government is to ensure that the accounting/audit/tax infrastructure is in place to ensure stable operation and growth is just a natural result of it all. In this current financial situation, the government or any government for that matter will be looking into how to strengthen the economic fundamentals of the country, like maintaining interest rates, currency strength, economic independance from the USD.
