Red Copper
my hair is dark brown i want to have red/copper tones in my hair..what home kit can i use?

that will give this effect and be safe on hair so no ammonia etc
cos normally they dnt come out that good on alreayd drak brown hair..so is there something would work

I really don't think there are very many highlight brands that make a kit with a cream highlight solution but I do believe Herbal Essance does. You can probably go to their website and see if any of their products do. When you find the color you want in the kit look on the back of the package there is most usualy a hair comparison chart to compare your hair to and it shows what the results are. If you have real long and heavy thick hair you will probably need 2 boxes. Make sure if you use the comb that you let the person that does your highlights that they go from the botom up and go in medium layers. Make sure when you are using the comb that you space them apart enough so when you are on the next layer you can put the highlights where you left the spaces on the layer below the one you are highlighting. I perfer to use the comb because it is easier but if you use the cap just use every other hole and you dont need to pull a lot of hair through. I usualy prefer the caps for short hair. When it is time to test your hair remember that your hair is a little bit darker when it is wet but if the highlighted part of your hair that you test looks to dark for you then put more cream on the part you tested and recheck it before you rinse your hair. If it still looks like it would be to dark then put the cap or bag back over your hair for a few minutes. After you rinse it and your hair is dry you'll have highlights that look like they were done by a pro. If you use a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair your highlights stay bright and stand out a Lot Better in the sun.
