If you repeat a college course for a higher grade, do they REPLACE that previous?

grade or not?

Is it different at every college?

Both attempts will show up on your transcript

if you were to transfer, the new school will see both attempts

A new school may or may not count the old grade against you

If you stay at the same school, they usually only refer to the new grade

and, it isn't necessarily the higher grade.... it is usually the newer grade (sometimes just as bad as old grade)
