What coins also can be a dollar?
I once had a coin that was also a dollar, and its driving me crazy which one it was...
They have Gold Dollar coins too I think? But it wasnt gold, it was silver.
Can anyone name them?
When I say also a dollar, I mean the coin IS a dollar, just in coin form. If this makes sense.
The US mints have been making dollar coins for over 200 years. They're called silver dollars. Here's a link to a bunch of pictures of what they looked like over the years:

They also made coins out of gold that were worth $10 each. They are worth a lot more than that, now.

How about the other coins? The ones worth a penny, or a nickle, or a dime, or a quarter? It's no more strange that there are dollar coins than there are quarter, nickle, dime or Penny Coins.
