Carolus Iiii
Carolus Iiii
coins, 1801?
I bought few coins year 1801 stated (dei. gratia.carolus.IIII. Hispan.et ind.rex.m.8r.f.m) on it, I bought this when I went for holiday in Malaysia from a construction worker who claimed to found it while digging. Where should I go in London or nearby area to confirm whether it is really from 1801. Thanks.
I think it is an 8 real Coin From 1801.
I simply googled in the text you had found on the coin and came up with the result below (under sources).
Nice portrait of the King on the coin - not exactly flattering!
According to the site it should weigh 26.65 grams and be made of silver.
